II. Addressable Fire Alarm Systems
Analogue Addressable Fire Alarm Systems differ from conventional systems in a number of ways and certainly add more flexibility, intelligence, speed of identification and scope of control. For this reason Analogue Addressable Fire Alarm Systems are the natural choice for larger premises and more complex system requirements.
Addressable Fire Alarm Systems
In an analogue addressable system, detectors are wired in a loop around the building with each detector having its own unique 'address'. The system may contain one or more loops depending upon the size of the system and design requirements. The Fire Control Panel 'communicates' with each detector individually and receives a status report e.g. Healthy, In Alarm or In Fault etc.

Communication System
The LFNet communication system facilities system structuring. Each device are connected to the LFNet line via the interface (NodeCard). The LFNet line is of the dual wiring type which means that even if one of the cables is subjected to a disconnection or short cuircuit, the system will continue to function as intended.

COsensor is a microprocessed electronic system from COFEM, capable of detecting and measuring the presence of carbon monoxide in closed sites (car park, workshop, tunnel, etc.) and controlling a fume extractor and/or activating an alarm when a reset concentration of CO occurs.
On the COsensor monoxide detection system, the detectors are supplied and communicated with the control panel per zone.
